St. Vincent de Paul Weekly Update

FOOD PANTRY NEEDS: liquid dish soap, Kleenex, deodorant, toilet paper, pears, salad dressing and chili.

During the past two weeks, your financial assistance helped provide $675 to a patron in need of help along with almost $500 in vouchers for other families to shop at the St. Vincent de Paul retail stores. Thank you for your generosity to help us help those who reach out to our ministry. We would also like to thank St. Charles' Pack 24 and Boy Scout Troop 224 for their food collection on Saturday, March 16. The boys, parents, and leaders brought bags of food collected from their neighborhoods and donated them to our food pantry. The Scouts also pitched in with sorting and checking the donated items for expiration dates. Together, the Cub and Boy Scouts collected 648 food items. Your neighbors, who need to use our pantry to feed their families, have been blessed through the efforts of St. Charles' parishioners and the Scouts.

If you are unable to afford food, the pantry is located at 229 Lawn Street, Hartland, and is open Tuesdays between 10 AM and noon. It is also open on the second and fourth Tuesday evening of each month between 5:30 PM and 7 PM. If you need other assistance, please contact SVDP at 262-367-0800.

The food pantry will close when Arrowhead Schools close for inclement weather. It will reopen the following Tuesday, weather permitting.
