Christina’s main responsibilities include handling communications, public relations, fundraising, student recruitment and retention, all in the grander scheme of providing a strong Catholic education to any family who desires it for their children. Christina took an active role at St. Charles as her children began attending the school after the family moved from Washington state. Her volunteer experiences includes chairing the annual dinner and auction, handling media relations, and serving as president of the Parents Club. She’s spent more than two decades writing about private and public education for newspapers and magazines in Illinois, California, and the Pacific Northwest. After graduating with a journalism degree, she wrote for daily newspapers in the Chicago suburbs and also in Los Angeles County. While raising her young children she ran a freelance writing business where her clients included Portland Community College, the largest college system in Oregon. As a lifelong, practicing Catholic, Christina is thankful and blessed to work in an environment where she can practice her faith and help others grow in their faithfulness to our Lord.
