St. Charles is the 4th largest parish in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. With FIVE Masses per weekend plus daily Masses, funerals, weddings and baptisms, we need a lot of volunteer help to make our liturgies wonderful, prayerful experiences.

Ushers

We are currently looking for ushers (18 and older) at the 9:00 am and 6:00 pm Masses.
Though we are always happy to receive more help at any of the weekend/Holy Day Masses. Training is provided and ushering is a small commitment as a volunteer but a very important role needed at all Masses. Please fill out the Sign-up Form and the pdf in the yellow box for Ushers (when complete drop off in parish office/drop box).

Greeters

Greeting visitors at Mass is such an important part of the hospitality ministry of the parish. The greeter role is very important because they have the opportunity to express God’s love through kindness, help and a smile. The greeter aids in setting the tone of the upcoming Mass. Families are encouraged to serve together. Please fill out the Sign-up Form.

Lector and Eucharistic Minister

If you are looking for a way to become more involved in our parish community, please consider becoming a parish lector and/or a Eucharistic minister. Training is provided and we have flexible schedules to meet your needs. Also we are in special need for Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers at the 6:00 pm Mass. Please fill out the Sign-up Form.

Servers (4th grade through adulthood)

All St. Charles parishioners from 4th grade through adulthood are invited to participate in an active role in our parish liturgies by being a server. The server has a very important role in helping both the priest at Mass and our parish community worship. Training is provided. Please fill out the Sign-up Form.

Sacristans for Weekend Masses

Our parish community needs sacristans at all the weekend Masses. The sacristans are responsible for setting out the sacred vessels and the bread and wine, lighting the candles before Mass, and purifying and putting away all vessels after Mass. Depending on the Mass time you prefer, additional responsibilities may be included. Adults and families are welcome to minister in this position.

Training is provided for all new sacristans and we are able to accommodate flexible schedules. Please fill out the Sign-up Form.
