St. Vincent de Paul Weekly Update
FOOD PANTRY NEEDS: cereal, bottled juice, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies
In the Gospel today on the Fifth Sunday of Easter, Jesus says, "I give you a new commandment: love one another... This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." By your gifts to our Society of St. Vincent de Paul, you show that you have love for one another, especially the suffering and poor, and that indeed you are a disciple of Jesus.
In the month of April, we were able to bring the love and care of Jesus to the poor by assisting 108 families in the food pantry and helping with rent and utility bills. Thank you for your continued support of our ministry!
The SVDP pantry is now located on Church grounds at 313 Circle Drive in Hartland! It is open on Tuesday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon. It is also open on the second and fourth Tuesday evenings of the month between 5:30-7 p.m. If you know of someone in need of our services, please call us at 262-367-0800.
