Bereavement Ministry

The Bereavement Ministry is responsible for providing services for and working in conjunction with funerals at St. Charles. Depending on the size or other constituents of the Mass, the Bereavement Ministry helps congregants in a time of loss by providing worship aids, ushers, tissues and water. After the funeral, members of the Bereavement Ministry follow up with families and provide grief services. If you are interested in becoming involved in the Bereavement Ministry or wish for more information, please contact the Parish Office at 262-367-0800 or by email at parish@stcharleshartland.org.

Our Bereavement Ministry also sponsors Grieving With Great Hope, a five-week grief support workshop using a video on-demand format. It offers a prayerful, practical, and personal approach for anyone who is mourning the loss of a loved one. If you have lost a spouse, a child (including pregnany loss), a grandchild, a parent, another family member or a friend, you are invited to attend. You may sign up and/or request information any time through the button below.
